OMEGA Custom Tackle Pro Kevin Ledoux of Choctaw Ok.  took first place honors at the B.A.S.S. Weekend Series season opener on Grand Lake O' The Cherokees held on April 4th in Grove Ok.

Kevin found his winning fish in practice using the new 3/8 oz. Pro-Mega jig in the Camo color pattern. He said that lake has experienced a lot of rain this spring and was really muddy from the mid-lake up, so he concentrated on the lower 1/3 of the lake. Once he found the right type of rock that the fish were holding on accompanied by the cleaner water he started getting quality bites immediately. Kevin had a solid limit of Largemouths that buried the scales at 19.05 pounds to win the season opener by nearly three pounds! For his efforts Kevin won $5,000 plus Triton Gold money.
